Setel has launched a new EV (electric vehicle) charging feature for EV owners today that allows EV owners to use the Setel Wallet app to find their preferred charging station.

The company plans to plant more providers in the near future, including Energise by Petronas. Currently, five pilot sites are available: Lotus' Tesco Kepong, EV Connection Workshop in Petaling Jaya, Carsome PJ Automall, Shangri-Rasa La's Sayang Resort in Penang, and ACO Group's headquarters in Johor Bahru.

To begin using the EV Charging feature, use the Search icon on the Setel app's home menu page to locate EV charging stations.

When you arrive, choose Start Charging and Activate Charger with the appropriate charger for your EV. While you wait, you can check your charging status and rates, and then stop it when you've had enough.
