Fiat has announced expanding its cooperation with RED, resulting in an all-red portfolio. While it may not be the best choice for a pace car in the Pamplona bull run, we think the new RED version does look nice.
The cabin air filter in all (RED) FIAT vehicles is treated with a biocide material that is said to have a highly effective antibacterial action. According to Fiat, the steering wheel and seats have been treated with a biocide that is particularly effective against bacteria and viruses.
Customers will also receive a Welcome Kit that includes a specially designed dispenser and a fundamental cover. Not all (RED) edition Fiat cars will be red, despite what you might see in the photo gallery and the photo at the top of the article.
The Tipo (RED), for example, is available in Gelato White, Colosseo Grey, and Cinema Black, with red caps on the rearview mirrors. Availability varies by model, so be sure to inquire when placing an order.
The Fiat 500X was already available in RED trim, but the Panda and Tipo have joined it. Even with the Tipo Cross Station Wagon design, the latter is available. Getting one of the 500 will also come with a new standard, the "Sanitizing Glove Box,"
According to Fiat, the new technology entailed installing a UV-C light within the glove box to sterilise the goods exposed to it. This includes smartphones, keys, and other commonplace items that fit in the glove compartment.
It takes three minutes to do its task, and when the three-minute irradiation cycle is finished, it will beep. After just one second and from a distance of two centimetres, the UV-C lamp is said to destroy over 99 percent of viruses and bacteria on the exposed surface of objects.
The Fiat 500 lineup for 2022 features a revised front with a new "500" badge, new "FIAT" writing and a new back logo.
Bobby Shriver and Bono created RED in 2006 to tackle the AIDS epidemic. Businesses aided the organisation by providing (RED) goods and services. Currently, the group assists in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic consequences.
Each sale contributes to the Global Fund, which has raised approximately $700 million. More than 220 million people have benefited from the organisation's efforts.
As explained by (RED), the funds raised alongside their partners go directly to building healthcare systems and aiding life-saving activities in the communities severely afflicted by the pandemic.
