These days, it may seem like practically EVERYTHING costs more than expensive and that’s because it is. The occurrence of an inflation crisis has not only impacted the price of goods but also an obvious surge in car prices.

Thanks to our BM writer, after a long and in-depth research on platforms that sell used cars, the author has found quite resourceful inputs to share with all readers out there, especially those who’s planning to purchase new or used cars.

During the search for an affordable car, the writer found several car models prices that did not fall in price even though their age had reached more than three to five years.

Here’s our Top 4 lists of car models NOT falling in price – PROTON SAGA, BEZZA, MYVI and AXIA.

Let’s check out the Proton Saga! The national car, Proton Saga has been on the market for almost 37 years and is one of the legendary models in the automotive market. Up until now, Proton Saga has received high demand from buyers for many good reasons.

Notably, the Saga was Malaysia's first car launched in 1985. Looking at the price that can be found as low as RM32K is a price that many can afford on top of modest monthly payment.

The latest 2022 Proton Saga is one of the updated classic models that brings new appearance along with improved features, safety, and quality headline improvements. Apart from its spacious interior space and depending on variants, you might find yourself liking the new Saga steering wheel, which comes with tilt adjustment builds on the theme wrapped in leatherette for improved comfort.

If you’re looking into A-segment vehicles, Proton Saga could be your diamond of the season. Added on to that if you’re looking for spare parts, the cost is rather CHEAP!

In short, Proton's mission of wanting every citizen to own a car was finally achieved by offering a machine called Saga at a fairly low price despite the situation in this country where the people have to deal with the cost of rising goods prices.

Moving on to PERODUA MYVI or Malaysia's King of Road is also one of the best-selling models in Malaysia since its debut in 2005. For those who still don't know why it is called King, Myvi proved to be darring on all types of road surfaces including through the air, according to our BM writer.

Almost every year, there will be news reported on Myvi assorted actions regardless of stories concerning accidents, racings, crash into shopping malls (im curious about this one too) and many more viralled on the cyberspace.

The supermini B-Segment King is by far the most successful local car in Malaysian history after recorded with over 1 million units of car sold within 17 years in the market. The big question here is, how can the car maker be able to guarantee that its price will not fall in the long term?

First and foremost, it’s the remain-the-same PRICE although Myvi went through lots of ‘growth’. For example, Perodua claims to launch new and facelifted Myvi models yet strangely, the car brand still maintains its selling price in order to ease purchasing flows for netizens.

To share her experience in handling PERODUA cars, our BM author is a Viva car user for 18 years and impressed by the quality.

She claims that while using the Viva, believe it or not, it has never broken down and is still able to go back and forth from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh even though the condition is getting worse. Part of the reasons why Perodua Myvi managed to take over as the best-selling model in Malaysia is that it mostly has value, especially in the used car market.

DISCLAIMER: We at Caricarz who sell used vehicles also admit that the market value of Myvi sales is still high. Believe it or not if someone wants to sell it, it still sells even with a manual or automatic transmission.

Furthermore, Perodua is quite committed to ensuring that their vehicles are always in good condition. Various measures are taken to ensure that customers continue to visit the service center even when the vehicle warranty has expired. Therefore, it charges cheaper labor costs for vehicles whose warranty period has expired.

The third vehicle that is not affected by its price is PERODUA BEZZA.

Why is Bezza still worth the price? Perodua Bezza is another Perodua product that sells very hard in this country's market and the price will not drop too significantly.

Regardless, this model is said to be of good quality and rarely causes problems such as engine damage and other issues. In addition, its large boot space makes it a choice for individuals who have families and one of the safest Perodua models.

This is proven based on the ASEAN NCAP crash test score for the Advance variant and Perodua Bezza gain 5 stars which is higher than some imported brands.

Finally, PERODUA AXIA.

In addition to 3 car models, it is certain that Perodua Axia also belongs to this group. The new price of Perodua Axia is around RM29,000 to RM41,000. For used vehicles, Perodua Axia can be sold for up to RM23,000 to RM25,000.
