Established and operating since Jan 2023, the new Lexus Klang showroom saw its officially opening marked by principals Lexus Malaysia this week. Crucially, the new outlet stands as the Lexus marque’s first eco-friendly showroom to open its doors in Malaysia.
Operated by dealers PCM Klang Motor Sdn Bhd, the outlet was developed based on sustainable and eco-friendly values and guidelines. The premise was designed using the latest in green building tech, and fitted with various sustainable materials boasting longer lifespans over traditional ones too.
Adding to which are the adoption of energy efficient LED lighting with motion sensors which, according to Lexus Malaysia, help reduce the building’s energy intensity and water usage whilst also boosting customer experiences.
“We are proud to offer our customers one of the best and most sophisticated experiences with this showroom, which blends harmoniously with our respect for the planet as we strive for a greener future,” said Lexus Malaysia’s President, Datuk Ravindran K., through a press release announcing the new outlet.
He further notes that the integration of sustainable materials and energy-efficient tech into the showroom’s design demonstrates the brand’s commitment towards reducing its carbon footprint. “We hope to pave the way for more sustainable efforts moving forward,” adds the exec further.
Environmental-consciousness aside, Lexus Klang seeks to make luxury vehicles more accessible. Operators PCM Klang Motor Sdn Bhd, who are also authorised Toyota dealers, notes that it’s able to offer Toyota customers the opportunity to upgrade through their trade-in programmes.
The latest to enter Lexus Malaysia’s line up is the 2023 Lexus RX. The fifth-gen iteration of a staple Lexus model nameplate underpins a new TNGA architecture and sports a bevy of the marque’s latest and greatest in terms of both tech and luxury. As for price, the new RX commands RM468,888 onwards.
Through Lexus Klang, principals Lexus Malaysia hopes to inspire customers to embrace sustainable living practices and make a positive impact on the environment. The outlet is located at No. 1137, Jalan Kepayang, Kawasan 17, 41050 Klang, Selangor, and can be contacted by phone at +(603) 3345 6482.
