Front View

It still exudes a muscular and athletic looking front end. The kidney grille has been given a slight redesign. Octagonal in shape, it now sees each vertical louvre in a double-bar style.

The facelift has decked it out with M Sport kit as standard, featuring a sportier front bumper with a large hexagonal lower intake, flanked by angular upswept design gloss black side inserts.

Rear View

At the rear, it gets a slightly robust but still sporty look for the overall design. It features clean and seamless contours that give a combo of elegant and aggressive.

Also, thanks to the M Sport kit, it sees a bumper that has a large bottom section in black that extends up the sides sportily.

It is further paired with a diffuser element, set between the two exhaust finishers that measure 90 MM or 100 MM in diameter depending on the engine.

It gets a pair of sharp and angular-shaped headlamps with full adaptive LED units and L-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL). It also has a high-beam assistant function.

The positioning of the headlights is slanted inwards to give it a fierce looking face and the sharp angular-design gives the front a more focused and athletic look.

Tail Lamps

The tail lamps are fitted with LED combination units. The large L-styled wraparound design has been shaped to match with the front end.

Slim and slit-like, it holds a very commanding layout of the rear, gelling well with all the other sporty elements present.

Side Mirror

The side mirrors are power adjusted and folded, with turn- and blind spot-indicators.

It gets M sport brakes with blue callipers (330i/330e).

Fitted is a set of 18-Inch M light alloy double-star-spoke Style 848 M two-tone rims, wrapped in 225/45 R18 run flat tyres (front), and 225/40 R18 run flat tyres (rear).

Unchanged pre-facelift, the G20 LCI harbours the same 2.0-Litre in-line four-cylinder turbocharged engine (B48), but with variant specific tune ups.

The 320i makes 184 HP and 300 NM of torque, the 330i makes 258 HP and 400 NM of torque, and the 330e plug-in hybrid paired with an electric motor makes a total output of 292 HP and 420 NM.

Ride Comfort

It is solid and extremely comfortable. It has a handling that is more refined and agile. Overall, the ride quality is good and has a wonderfully smooth engine power and transmission delivery.

Sound Insulation

Good sound insulation. BMW have improved the NVH aspects of the vehicle hence the cabin is able to suppress wind, road and tyre noises well and make them barely noticeable even when cruising through bumpy asphalts.

Wrap Up

The BMW 3 Series (G20) LCI is in a class of its own. Enveloped by an aggressively luxurious appeal, it commands a sharper presence that has been paired to a formidable dynamic driving experience.

A striking exterior, it is very well designed with the harmonious proportions, powerful contours, and emphasis on the aggressive body sculpture.

Quality of the equipment and materials installed inside and outside of the car really impresses with the upscale, mature design and restrained detailing.

Overall, the new facelifted range is more than just a strong character, it is a great vehicle that offers a sporty outlook, sporty performance, practicality and comfort all in one.
