Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd, the new sole distributor for the Kia brand in Malaysia has launched the All-New 2022 Kia Carnival.

The 2022 Kia Grand Carnival is set at RM 196,340

The colour line-up includes Astra Blue, Silky Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, Snow White Pearl, Panthera Metal and Flare Red, making a total of 6 colours available.

All-new Kia Carnival dimensions for Length, Width, Height in (mm) are 5115 x 1985 x 1755. The wheelbase is 3060 mm and weighs 2150 kg.

At the front, it has a large “tiger nose” grille that ties in the quad LED projector headlights and distinctive LED daytime running lights into a single graphic. Overall, it has a modern and stylish design for an 11-seater MPV.

In the rear, the Carnival has a wide design that emphasizes the car's sense of solidity with full-width lines. These lines include the sleek combo lamps, which integrate the same details as the DRLs at the front of the car into a full-width light.

At the rear, it also has LED combination lights

Has Folding Wing Mirror Turn and Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)

and expanded exterior mirror package with automatic parking function, exterior mirror base in black matt with automatic anti-dazzle function with electric fold-in function.

Front and rear brakes are using Ventilated Disc with Electric Power Steering and Electronic Parking Brake.

The car also comes standard with 18-inch Y-spoke two-tone alloy wheels.

With its horizontal dashboard design combined with a tall centre console and a freestanding display panel, it really suits well with the cabin layout.

With 5 doors and 11-seater MPV, the seats are powered by Eight-Way Power-Adjustable Front Seats.

The Carnival provides 40.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third-row seats, 86.9 cubic feet with the third row folded down, and 145.1 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down.

The front seats are spacious and comfortable meanwhile the second-row seats are also the same which is highly versatile. It can even be folded down the middle section to make it into a table between the outboard seats.

Next, the third row is easy to access and provides enough legroom for adult passenger.

There’s a decent amount of small-item storage space throughout the cabin, as well as the one at door panels.

In terms of the vehicle body structure, the all-new Kia Carnival is built based on the all-new 3rd generation “N3” platform that is lighter, stronger, and quieter.

Key improvement areas include the expanded use of hot-stamped parts and ultra-high-strength steel for increased average tensile strength and torsional stiffness that result in better driving dynamics.

The cargo could carry up to 359 litre of boot space.

Standard safety technologies in the all-new Carnival includes 7 SRS Airbags (Front Driver & Passenger, Driver Knee, Side and Curtain), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Multi-Collision Brake Control (MCB), ISOFIX Child Restraint Anchor Points and Top Tethers as well as Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).

The Kia Carnival comes equipped with Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA).

A class leading 12.3-inch High-resolution LCD Touchscreen Infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless smartphone charging and multi-Bluetooth connectivity and up to seven USB ports.

Kia Carnival includes front and rear fog lights, keyless entry, push-button start, triple-zone automatic climate control, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, a 360-degree camera system and a hands-free powered sliding doors and tailgate.

Also, driving is more convenient with the model is available with E-shift knob, paddle shifters and drive mode selector.

Has six speakers and is good enough for all occupants to enjoy the bass.

Powered by keyless push button, the All-New Carnival features comes equipped with a 2.2L Turbo Diesel Engine mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission, controlled by an electronic shifter

The 2.2L engine produces 199 horsepower at 3,800 RPM and 440 Nm of torque from just 1,750 – 2,750 RPM. It offers smooth, linear acceleration and a premium performance driving feel.

Since it’s a 11-seater MPV, best to drive in a city or town area where it is safer to travel with families.
