The All-New Mazda BT-50 comes in two variants; 1.9L AT Double Cab (High) and 3.0L AT Double Cab (High Plus). Prices are RM 124,179.20 and RM 143,218.40, respectively.

Then, colours available are Rock Grey Mica, Gunblue Mica, Ice White, Red Volcano Mica and True Black Mica, making a total of 5 colours available. It also come with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty according to manufacturer’s standards, with a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.

Body Dimensions

The measurements are 5,280 mm in Length, 1,870 mm in width, 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 3,125 mm.


Front View

From the front of the vehicle, it has a prominent front grille, and the 3-dimensional signature wing which establishes a commanding front view and dominating road presence.

Has 5-seating capacity and 8-Way Power Adjustment with Manual Lumber for driver’s seat and 4-Way Manual for passenger’s seat. On the passenger seat, there’s an armrest at the centre.

As for the storage space, it has a compartment where we can easily charge our smartphone. At the rear seats where we could rest our arms, there is another storage to put items. At the front and rear seats, we can find storage at the door interior sides to put water bottles.

There are a total of four cup holders, two are located at the rear foldable armrest while two more are situated near the front centre armrest. Also, four bottle holders are located each at the door panels.

Engine

The engine is powered by Isuzu’s RZ4E-TC 1.9 litre four-cylinder turbodiesel making 148 hp (150 PS) at 3,600 rpm and 350 Nm of torque from 1,800 to 2,600 rpm



Transmission

It has a six-speed automatic transmission with Sport Mode and cruise control. This truck also allows a turning radius of 5.9 metres making it easier and stable, especially handling curves.

However, it felt less bumpy compared to other pickup trucks.

Conclusion

Driving performance is good and I prefer to drive this car to an outskirt area where it is more challenging, and Mazda BT-50 has what it takes to drive on uneven roads. Also, the car is stylish for a pickup truck.
