Priced from MYR 2,088,888 (OTR, w/o insurance), it is the flagship variant of the GT 4-Door Coupe (Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic+) that launched locally in 2019.

Weighing in at 2,380 KG, the new AMG GT 63 S E Performance stands at 5,054 MM long, 1,953 MM wide, 1,447 MM tall, and with a wheelbase spanning 2,951 MM.
Sportily elegant, its muscularly-squatted silhouette gets a strikingly characteristic front-end, which is based on the design of the two-door AMG GT.
Commanding the layout, featured is the familiar Mercedes grille that has been paired to a three-part lower air-intake fitment (wide outer- and stretched middle-intake).
Heightening its outlook is the AMG Night Package and the AMG Night Package II, which sees details and trimmings in high-gloss black and dark chrome.
Complementing the front, its coupe-esque rear-end further exudes a sophisticated and athletic appeal with sharp, minimalistic and seamless contours.
Exuding a jointless design, the bumper with a slit-like air-intake, extends to the sides giving the body its muscular shoulder section, as well as its planted demeanour.

Standard, the new AMG GT 63 S E Performance features the following set of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
Under Driving Assistance Package, grouped are Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Steering Assist and AMG Track Pace. Under the Parking Package, grouped are Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC and 360-degree camera. Others include Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Traction Control System (TC/TCS).
Passive safety under GUARD 360-degree Vehicle protection Plus, grouped are Anti-theft alarm system (ATA) and Interior monitoring system. Others include seven airbags (driver, passenger, curtains, driver knee/side, front passenger side), seat belts (reminders, pre-tensioners, anchors), parking sensors (front, rear), Hill Hold Control, door ajar warning, engine immobiliser, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Hybridised, the new AMG GT 63 S E Performance harbours an AMG 4.0-Litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, paired to a rear-mounted permanently excited synchronous electric motor. Total system output is 843 HP/620-KW and 1,470 NM of torque.
Installed is an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G (nine-speed MCT automatic transmission).
Power is sent to all four wheels via the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.
It accelerates from 0 to 100 KM/H in 2.9 seconds, and has a 316 KM/H top speed.
AMG-developed and Formula 1-derived, the 6.1-KWH battery provides 12 KM (WLTP) of electric-only range and up to 130 KM/H of driving speed. Charging is via the 3.7-KW onboard AC charger, at a charging station, a wallbox or household sockets.
For the petrol side, it sports a 65-Litre fuel tank capacity, and has a consumption of 8.6-L/100 KM.

There are air-conditioning vents present, located at the rear part of the centre console.
Fitted is the AMG Ride Control+ suspension with continuously adjustable pressure relief valves, AMG Dynamic Select drive programs, and AMG Dynamics control system.
