Own a recond Toyota? Here's some good news. UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has launched a nationwide service campaign for reconditioned Toyota vehicles, with servicing promotions starting from RM469, giving owners access to Toyota-certified technicians, genuine parts and professional vehicle inspections.

What Does Toyota's Recond Service Campaign Offer?

According to Toyota Malaysia's official campaign page, the promotion highlights recond models such as the Alphard, Vellfire and Harrier, although owners should confirm their particular vehicle's eligibility and applicable service package.

Interestingly, Toyota's authorised service centres have already been accepting recond and parallel-imported vehicles. According to its existing MaxCheck service information, selected centres offer periodic maintenance, component repairs, and body and paint services for these vehicles.

The newly announced campaign therefore appears to be more of a dedicated promotional push for recond Toyota owners, rather than the first time they can access authorised Toyota servicing.
